We are so grateful for all of our volunteers at every age and stage in life.

"The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" – Matthew 25:40

Volunteers are a critical component to life at Rivertree Academy! On average, we have approximately 140 weekly volunteers who are investing in our children.  Whether you are interested in one-on-one tutoring, leading a literature group, working with our students in the classroom, mentoring, or anything in between, we need you!

Weekly volunteer opportunities are available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and on Tuesday and Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Come for 30 minutes...or 3 hours. The choice is yours!

If you are unable to commit to a weekly time to serve, we have other ways to volunteer as well!  Occasional volunteers serve as: chaperones for field trips, helpers at our school carnival, child care providers during Parent Meetings, office assistants, teacher appreciation helpers, etc. If you are specifically looking for occasional times to serve on the weekends, we have monthly campus improvement and clean-up projects, that we call Serve Saturdays, on the second Saturday of each month.  Both individuals and small groups (corporate, church-based, and high school) are welcome!

In order to join our team, you must complete the following requirements:

- Volunteer interest form

- Background check,

- A quick 20-minute Ministry Safe video training,

- A one-hour volunteer orientation at Rivertree.

For more information, please email Shineta Odom at shineta@rivertreeacademy.org. We look forward to helping you find a place to serve!
